Is Modern Legal regulated by the SRA?
Modern Legal Ltd is not an SRA-regulated firm, and does not offer reserved legal services.
In plain English: Ahmet is a solicitor on the SRA register (SRA ID 837126), but Modern Legal itself isn’t an SRA-regulated firm. That means we don’t carry out “reserved” legal work, such as conducting court litigation, conveyancing or probate. Everything a startup typically needs (company, contracts, fundraising, employment, data protection and IP advice) is unreserved work we can help with. Some protections that apply to clients of SRA-regulated firms don’t apply here; Ahmet is happy to explain what this means for you before you instruct us.
